THE CUP — the Intergalactic Earth Invitational

A hundred years after the end of the world, an alien athletics commission found Earth's feral wildlife and its stubborn survivors, declared the whole planet an Invitational, and started broadcasting. You're at the qualifier.

The Cup is a free 1v1 creature card battler that runs in your browser - PC or phone, nothing to install. Field a survivor and a line of three creatures, then play cards, roll dice, and hold the center.

  • 59 creatures, all real animals. Every contestant is a mutated version of real North American wildlife, entered under its true natural history — the real fact is printed on every card. The pronghorn has been outrunning a ghost for 12,000 years. You cannot eat a billion of anything.
  • Variance is a choice. Every creature is tagged SAFE, SWINGY, or JACKPOT. The gamble is always one you opted into — and everyone watches the die.
  • No skip button. The animations are the interface; spectacle carries the information.
  • Four formats: instant AUTO teams, SURVIVOR pick, HALF-DRAFT, and FULL-DRAFT.
  • Always someone to fight: live 1v1 by invite link, single-elimination Gauntlets with medals, or the House — the always-on sparring partner with seven nameplates and one grudge.

▶ Play now: cupqualifier.app — the link seats you straight into the early access test.

Early access, honestly: this is a live playtest. Cards get rebalanced weekly, things occasionally break, and reports land on the dev desk same-day. Early testers keep the EARTH'S BEST TESTER badge permanently.

The stands: r/CupQualifier · The green room: discord.gg/SPVGfs6Ta — find opponents, report bugs, watch the build happen.

A broadcast of the Galactic Athletics Commission. The feed is recorded.
